Who are we?

Jordan Salman

Jordan, recently turned mommy, holds her own on a bicycle. She started mountain biking in college and instantly fell in love with it. Mountain biking led to road riding, which became her passion. With thousands of miles logged on the saddle, Jordan is no longer a novice at the sport. Her favorite rides include: Parkway Climbs on the roady, Black Mountain, Long Branch, Bennett Gap, Dupont rides, and any other road ride because she gets to watch Sam huff and puff behind her.

Sam Salman

Sam is always on the injured reserve list. He can be found sneaking out to catch a quick ride. Sam started mountain biking in High School, but really got into it when he moved to Brevard for college. His favorite rides include: Squirrel Gap, Bennett Gap, Farlow Gap, Black Mtn, Long Dupont Rides, Cantrell Creek, and many others. If you get a chance, get him out of the shop for a ride...he needs it.

Davis Crain

Davis rejoined The Hub/Backcountry Outdoors after realizing he could not stay away from Pisgah. With years of wilderness exploration and a passion for cycling, Davis offers up the most bang for your buck with knowledge and experience of everything outdoors that gets you blood pumping. You can find Davis ripping it up on his bike, kayak, two feet, or at the local coffee shop making it happen on the computer box. Come by and learn from the man, what will be the new hotness in the cycling and outdoor world.

Jimi Megonnel

Jimi is the man when it comes to cycling. With over 25 years experience riding, wrenching, and building a relationship with bicycles, there is not much more that can be said. Jimi can be found running the show at The Hub Service Center. Visit him for a Pint Size Tune-up and a quality tale during story hour. Jimi specializes in bicycle repair using Science and Technology.
